Yucca saponin is an active substance extracted from natural plant yucca. It can promote the absorption of feed protein, reduce ammonia hazard, improve feed utilization, and improve the performance of aquaculture production.
Yucca contains three effective ingredients: yucca saponin, yucca polysaccharide, and yucca polyphenol. Yucca saponin has the ability to bind harmful gases such as ammonia, and polyphenols have anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant effects.
Yucca saponin 30% and 60% are added to feed for animal fattening, because it can promote feed decomposition, improve digestibility, facilitate the absorption of nutrients, and inhibit the decomposition of urea. Adding yucca extract to feed can reduce the ammonia content in poultry excrement by about 30%. It is widely used as a feed additive.
